Trump clips Biden in poten­tial 2024 rematch: Poll

The lat­est polling data for the 2024 pres­i­den­tial elec­tion put for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump just ahead of Pres­i­dent Joe Biden, con­tin­u­ing the recent trend of a close gen­er­al elec­tion rematch between the two.
Trump, who left the White House in 2021, is ahead of Biden by 4%, with Trump scor­ing 44% of the vote from respon­dents against Biden’s 40%, accord­ing to the most recent Har­vard-Har­ris poll. A major­i­ty of the respon­dents, 58%, expressed con­cern regard­ing whether Biden was men­tal­ly able to serve as pres­i­dent, which has been a grow­ing con­cern for many in light of the pres­i­dent turn­ing 81 years-old in Novem­ber. Addi­tion­al­ly, Biden scored low in the approval rat­ing of his han­dling of issues impact­ing the Unit­ed States, includ­ing a score of 35% on his han­dling of infla­tion.
