The View attacks ‘NRA Bar­bie’ Lau­ren Boe­bert over Beetle­juice behav­ior

The View crit­i­cized Rep. Lau­ren Boe­bert (R‑CO) over her recent behav­ior at a the­ater in Col­orado, argu­ing her actions were hyp­o­crit­i­cal to the stances she has advo­cat­ed in Con­gress.
Boe­bert was eject­ed from a Beetle­juice: The Musi­cal per­for­mance at the Den­ver Cen­ter for the Per­form­ing Arts with a male com­pan­ion last week, with patrons say­ing they were being dis­rup­tive and vap­ing dur­ing the per­for­mance. The View co-host also stat­ed that Boe­bert and her com­pan­ion were being phys­i­cal­ly inti­mate dur­ing the per­for­mance, which the oth­er co-hosts claimed was hyp­o­crit­i­cal to do in a chil­dren’s the­ater, as Boe­bert has argued that drag queen per­for­mances for chil­dren in the past are not age appro­pri­ate.

“The prob­lem is hypocrisy,” co-host Ana Navar­ro said. “The hypocrisy, the hypocrisy of it all. Lau­ren Boe­bert, we have a mon­tage of some of the stuff she’s been say­ing because she’s a staunch sup­port­er of chil­dren. God for­bid a child see the fake boo­bies of a drag queen. Appar­ent­ly, the boo­bies of a trash queen are OK.”
