A subcommittee of the House Oversight Committee will hold a hearing on Bidenomics on Tuesday.
The Subcommittee for Economic Growth, Energy Policy, and Regulatory Affairs will have a hearing titled “Bidenomics: A Perfect Storm of Spending, Debt, and Inflation.”

The hearing will feature testimony from Carrie Sheffield, a senior policy analyst for Independent Women’s Forum; University of Chicago professor Casey Mulligan; E.J. Antoni, a Heritage Foundation research fellow and Committee to Unleash Prosperity senior fellow; and Bobby Kogan, the Center for American Progress’s senior director of federal budget policy.
Witnesses will speak on the impact of inflation and spending on communities and homes. Inflation rose to 1.6% for the year ending in August, the second such month to increase.

Republicans have been targeting President Joe Biden since he started touting Bidenomics as a cornerstone of his reelection campaign.
The hearing will begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
