Pres­i­dent Joe Biden told a sto­ry at a Man­hat­tan cam­paign event, appear­ing com­plete­ly obliv­i­ous to the fact that — just moments ear­li­er — he had told the exact same sto­ry, almost word for word.
The sto­ry was one Biden has told numer­ous times in the past — about the 2017 riot in Char­lottesville and how it had ulti­mate­ly proved to be the inspi­ra­tion behind Biden’s 2020 pres­i­den­tial run.
