The View claims DeSan­tis’s 2024 cam­paign is ‘dead on arrival’ amid low polling num­bers

The View co-hosts have once again crit­i­cized Gov. Ron DeSan­tis (R‑FL), specif­i­cal­ly regard­ing his 2024 pres­i­den­tial run that has failed to gain trac­tion among Repub­li­can vot­ers.
Ana Navar­ro, one of the hosts of the talk show, claimed that DeSan­tis’s cam­paign for pres­i­dent is “dead on arrival” and that the Flori­da gov­er­nor is on “polit­i­cal life sup­port.” The state­ments come as for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, who is run­ning for reelec­tion, is still far ahead of DeSan­tis in the polls, four months after the Flori­da gov­er­nor announced he would run for pres­i­dent.
“Despite so many reboots, I now think he has more pairs of boots than Nan­cy Sina­tra,” Navar­ro said. “His cam­paign is dead on arrival. I mean, this guy is on polit­i­cal life sup­port. It’s just nobody has had the com­pas­sion and mer­cy to actu­al­ly pull the plug.”
Navar­ro said she was hap­py about DeSan­tis’s strug­gling cam­paign because “he’s been awful in Flori­da.”
