Amid bor­der cri­sis, Biden cam­paign says he’s deliv­ered for Lati­no vot­ers

The Biden-Har­ris 2024 cam­paign launched a new ad aimed at Lati­no vot­ers ahead of the sec­ond Repub­li­can Nation­al Com­mit­tee debate.
The new video, “La Difer­en­cia,” was released in Span­ish and Eng­lish, and is the third ad in the Demo­c­ra­t­ic duo’s $25 mil­lion three-part cam­paign aimed at con­vinc­ing His­pan­ics across the coun­try to back the incum­bent.

“Repub­li­cans talk a lot of game, but Joe Biden actu­al­ly deliv­ers for Lati­nos,” said Maca Casa­do, the Biden-Har­ris 2024 His­pan­ic media direc­tor, in a state­ment Fri­day. “That’s the dif­fer­ence and that’s the choice Lati­nos will face in Novem­ber 2024: Between an agen­da that is low­er­ing costs and invest­ing in Lati­no com­mu­ni­ties and their busi­ness­es, and MAGA Repub­li­cans whose plat­form only serves the wealthy and pow­er­ful.”
The Biden-Har­ris cam­paign point­ed to record-low Lati­no unem­ploy­ment and low­er costs and greater avail­abil­i­ty for Lati­no fam­i­lies seek­ing health insur­ance as wins for the grow­ing demo­graph­ic.
“Some talk, oth­ers do. And in our com­mu­ni­ty, we know the dif­fer­ence,” the nar­ra­tor in the Eng­lish video states. “Repub­li­cans say they’re for us, but we know they’re work­ing for the rich and pow­er­ful.
