Biden plan­ning Lati­no vot­er blitz ahead of GOP Cal­i­for­nia debate

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden’s reelec­tion effort plans to can­vas Lati­no vot­ers in the Los Ange­les met­ro­pol­i­tan area ahead of the Sept. 27 Repub­li­can debate at the Ronald Rea­gan Pres­i­den­tial Library in Simi Val­ley.
The cam­paign has already invest­ed sig­nif­i­cant sums toward tar­get­ing Lati­no vot­ers, young men in par­tic­u­lar, in key bat­tle­ground states and is run­ning Eng­lish, Span­ish, and Spang­lish ads on tele­vi­sion, radio, and dig­i­tal prop­er­ties.

Still, cam­paign offi­cials announced Fri­day morn­ing the launch of anoth­er Eng­lish and Span­ish ad, “La Difer­en­cia,” as part of its $25 mil­lion ad cam­paign tar­get­ing Lati­no and black vot­ers.
Mean­while, cam­paign man­ag­er Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Demo­c­ra­t­ic Nation­al Com­mit­tee Chair­man Jaime Har­ri­son, and Gov. Gavin New­som (D‑CA) will lead the cam­paign’s grass­roots orga­niz­ing in the state.
