Trump admires cus­tom gun and hints he wants to buy it at South Car­oli­na firearm store

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump stopped at a South Car­oli­na gun store ahead of a speech he was mak­ing in the state on Mon­day, and a video of him hold­ing a cus­tom Glock was then shared online.
Trump stopped at the Pal­met­to State Armory, where he took pho­tos with sev­er­al peo­ple in the store and also admired a weapon with his face on it.

At one point, Trump said that he want­ed to buy the gun that he was hold­ing. That video was post­ed to social media by his spokesman, Steven Che­ung.
“Pres­i­dent Trump pur­chas­es a Glock Inc. in South Car­oli­na!” Che­ung wrote in his post about the video, which was lat­er delet­ed.
How­ev­er, in a state­ment pro­vid­ed to the Wash­ing­ton Exam­in­er, Che­ung said that Trump stat­ed in the video that “he want­ed to buy one” but did not con­firm the pur­chase.
Video of the exchange was also shared by the Nation­al Rifle Asso­ci­a­tion.
