Majority of voters say Biden’s age will affect 2024 decision: Poll

A majority of voters said President Joe Biden’s age will affect their 2024 election decisions, according to a new poll.
A NewsNation/Decision Desk HQ poll found that 72% of registered voters said the 80-year-old president’s age would be a factor in their decision. At the end of a second term, Biden would be 86 years old.

For 40% of respondents, his age would “strongly impact” their vote. Roughly 19% said their vote would be “somewhat” affected by age. Thirteen percent claimed the president’s age would “slightly impact” their vote.
About 28% said Biden’s age wouldn’t affect their voting decision “at all.”
Additionally, 74% reported they are either “very” or “somewhat concerned” about Biden’s cognitive health and its effect on his capability to serve another term.
Just 14% weren’t concerned “at all” about his cognitive health’s bearing on his ability to serve another term.
