Social media rev­els in Nik­ki Haley’s blurb on Ramaswamy’s book

For­mer South Car­oli­na Gov. Nik­ki Haley wrote a blurb on Vivek Ramaswamy’s book that con­veyed an oppos­ing opin­ion to what she said dur­ing Wednes­day’s debate.
Cap­i­tal­ist Pun­ish­ment is Ramaswamy’s lat­est release, which fea­tured a blurb writ­ten by Haley that com­pli­ment­ed his pre­vi­ous book, Woke, Inc. A pic­ture of the blurb gar­nered atten­tion online since the for­mer gov­er­nor attacked Ramaswamy for using Tik­Tok. Dur­ing the debate, she ges­tured to Ramaswamy after he defend­ed using the plat­form and said: “Hon­est­ly, every time I hear you, I feel a lit­tle bit dumb­er for what you say.”

Mean­while, in her blurb, Haley com­pli­ments Ramaswamy as an author who “speaks truth with­out fear.” The book was meant to explain how “woke” iden­ti­ty pol­i­tics divides Amer­i­ca and, as the title sug­gests, scams social jus­tice ini­tia­tives.
