Fani Willis Gets Her First Guilty Plea In 2020 Election Case. Here’s Who It Is.

A co-defen­dant in Ful­ton Coun­ty Dis­trict Attor­ney Fani Willis‘ sweep­ing rack­e­teer­ing case against for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump and 18 oth­er indi­vid­u­als has entered a plea deal — becom­ing the first of the 19 charged Amer­i­cans to do so.
Scott Hall, a bail bonds­man, plead­ed guilty to five counts of con­spir­a­cy to com­mit inten­tion­al inter­fer­ence with the per­for­mance of elec­tion duties in exchange for lenient sen­tenc­ing, Fox 5 report­ed.
As part of that deal, Hall has agreed to five years of pro­ba­tion, to refrain from elec­tion polling activ­i­ties, pay a fine of $5,000, serve 200 hours of com­mu­ni­ty ser­vice, and write an apol­o­gy let­ter to the peo­ple of Geor­gia while coop­er­at­ing with the Ful­ton Coun­ty DA’s office.
Pros­e­cu­tors alleged that Hall flew to Cof­fee Coun­ty and “imaged every hard dri­ve of every piece of equip­ment” from Cof­fee Coun­ty vot­ing sta­tions at the request …
