Biden says he’s ‘sick and tired’ of the ‘brinks­man­ship’ from House Repub­li­cans

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden has crit­i­cized House Repub­li­cans and their “brinkman­ship,” say­ing that he is “sick and tired” of it.
Biden’s com­ments fol­low the Unit­ed States gov­ern­ment nar­row­ly avoid­ing a gov­ern­ment shut­down after both the House and the Sen­ate passed a con­tin­u­ing res­o­lu­tion, with Biden sign­ing it late Sat­ur­day evening. In a speech from the White House on Sun­day, Biden crit­i­cized House Repub­li­can law­mak­ers, claim­ing that “MAGA extrem­ists” brought the gov­ern­ment to the brink of a gov­ern­ment shut­down.

“Enough is enough is enough!” Biden said. “This is not that com­pli­cat­ed. The brinkman­ship has to end, and there should­n’t be anoth­er cri­sis. There’s no excuse for anoth­er cri­sis.”
