Trump Says Bowman Should Endure ‘Same Fate’ As ‘January 6 Prisoners’

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump wants to know if Rep. Jamaal Bow­man (D‑NY) will be pros­e­cut­ed and impris­oned for pulling a fire alarm in a House office build­ing ahead of a gov­ern­ment spend­ing vote.
In a post to his social media plat­form, Truth Social, Trump ref­er­enced the breach of the U.S. Capi­tol on Jan­u­ary 6, 2021, that dis­rupt­ed law­mak­ers as they worked to cer­ti­fy Pres­i­dent Joe Biden’s 2020 elec­tion vic­to­ry.
“Will Con­gress­man Jamal Bow­man be pros­e­cut­ed and impris­oned for very dan­ger­ous­ly pulling and set­ting off the main fire alarm sys­tem in order to stop a Con­gres­sion­al vote that was going on in D.C.” Trump said in his post.
