Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie criticized former President Donald Trump for allegedly blocking a joint Fox News appearance with fellow 2024 Republican primary rival Vivek Ramaswamy.
Christie and Ramaswamy were set to appear together for a one-hour “Candidates Corner” special with Fox News host Bret Baier on Tuesday evening, but the Republican National Committee reportedly thwarted those plans, claiming the two men would be barred from future debates if they participated in the Fox News segment.

One day after Christie slammed the RNC’s actions, he’s now taking aim at Trump. “Voters need more information, not less. That’s why I agreed to go one-on-one with Vivek Ramaswamy on Fox News,” said Christie on Wednesday. “But Trump allies in the RNC put an end to it. They’re silencing real conversation, and now Trump is even calling on the RNC to cancel debates. Nothing new. … Party bosses doing everything possible to keep Trump in power.”
