Biden closed Q3 with more cash on hand than entire GOP field

President Joe Biden’s 2024 reelection effort continued its steady fundraising dominance in the third quarter of 2023, according to data published Sunday morning by the campaign.
The president’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and their joint fundraising committees hauled in $71 million in Q3, roughly 160% of former President Donald Trump’s take and 475% of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ total.

Biden heads into Q4 with nearly $91 million cash on hand, more than the expected total for the entire Republican primary field and the most cash on hand “by any Democratic candidate in history at this point in the cycle,” campaign officials claimed.
In total, more than 1.4 million people have donated to Biden so far this cycle, including 240,000 new donors who did not contribute in 2020.
