Late-night host Bill Maher is being blasted for slamming left-leaning higher education but swapping suddenly to criticize conservative lawmakers.
In Maher’s New Rules segment, he criticized universities like Harvard for producing radical supporters of far-left ideologies, such as hate for Israel. While many conservatives showed support of Maher’s criticism and mocking of elite colleges, many took issue when he began discussing how many elite colleges have alumna like Vivek Ramaswamy, Ron DeSantis, Sens. Ted Cruz (R‑TX) and Tom Cotton (R‑AR), and Supreme Court Justices John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, and Samuel Alito, with Maher stating “they all came out of an a**hole factory.”
