Bill Maher blast­ed for being ‘cow­ard-like’ for focus­ing on Repub­li­cans in crit­i­ciz­ing elite col­leges

Late-night host Bill Maher is being blast­ed for slam­ming left-lean­ing high­er edu­ca­tion but swap­ping sud­den­ly to crit­i­cize con­ser­v­a­tive law­mak­ers.
In Maher’s New Rules seg­ment, he crit­i­cized uni­ver­si­ties like Har­vard for pro­duc­ing rad­i­cal sup­port­ers of far-left ide­olo­gies, such as hate for Israel. While many con­ser­v­a­tives showed sup­port of Maher’s crit­i­cism and mock­ing of elite col­leges, many took issue when he began dis­cussing how many elite col­leges have alum­na like Vivek Ramaswamy, Ron DeSan­tis, Sens. Ted Cruz (R‑TX) and Tom Cot­ton (R‑AR), and Supreme Court Jus­tices John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, and Samuel Ali­to, with Maher stat­ing “they all came out of an a**hole fac­to­ry.”
