Liz Cheney Won’t Rule Out A Presidential Run

For­mer Rep. Liz Cheney (R‑WY) said on Sun­day she would not rule out a pres­i­den­tial run.
“No, I’m not,” Cheney said after being asked by anchor Jake Tap­per in an inter­view on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
Moments ear­li­er, Tap­per pressed Cheney on whether she would vote for Pres­i­dent Joe Biden over for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump.

“We’re going to see what hap­pens. We’re going to see how things unfold,” Cheney said.
Cheney, daugh­ter of for­mer Vice Pres­i­dent Dick Cheney, called Trump a “threat” and said she would “imag­ine that there will be a num­ber of oth­er can­di­dates in the race.”
