Maine shoot­ing: 16 dead after shoot­ings at mul­ti­ple loca­tions in Lewis­ton

Police in Lewis­ton, Maine, have ordered peo­ple and busi­ness­es to shel­ter in place after shoot­ings at mul­ti­ple loca­tions left 16 peo­ple dead, accord­ing to CNN.
CNN report­ed Wednes­day that between 50 and 60 peo­ple had been hurt in the inci­dents across the town as well.
Author­i­ties in the state were inves­ti­gat­ing mul­ti­ple areas as of Wednes­day night, accord­ing to CNN.
A pos­si­ble sus­pect was in cus­tody as of around 9:20 p.m., accord­ing to Fox News’s Jacqui Hein­rich. She also report­ed a high­er death count at 22.
