The hosts of The View harsh­ly crit­i­cized Rep. Vir­ginia Foxx (R‑NC) over com­ments made short­ly after House Speak­er Mike John­son was nom­i­nat­ed for the speak­er­ship role, with co-host Joy Behar jok­ing they were bor­der­ing on “elder abuse.”
