D’Souza’s ‘Police State’ Fea­tures Fed­er­al Insan­i­ty Exposed by MRC Free Speech Amer­i­ca

Film­mak­er Dinesh D’Souza’s new movie “Police State” high­light­ed a fed­er­al pro­gram to tar­get Repub­li­cans, con­ser­v­a­tives and Chris­tians that was exposed by the Media Research Cen­ter.
In his new movie “Police State,” which pre­miered in the­aters Oct. 23, D’Souza and the experts he inter­viewed par­tic­u­lar­ly empha­sized how much the fed­er­al gov­ern­ment has vio­lat­ed First Amend­ment rights with their mass cen­sor­ship efforts. Author Peter Schweiz­er high­light­ed the “Pyra­mid of Far-Right Rad­i­cal­iza­tion,” revealed by MRC Free Speech Amer­i­ca as part of a Depart­ment of Home­land Secu­ri­ty (DHS)-funded pro­gram, the “Tar­get­ed Vio­lence & Ter­ror­ism Pre­ven­tion Grant Pro­gram” (TVTP), tar­get­ing Repub­li­cans, con­ser­v­a­tives and Chris­tians.
Schweiz­er showed D’Souza the Pyra­mid dur­ing the film, point­ing out how groups like the Nation­al Rifle Asso­ci­a­tion (NRA), The Her­itage Foun­da­tion, the Chris­t­ian Broad­cast­ing Net­work (CBN), Bre­it­bart News and the Repub­li­can Nation­al Com­mit­tee (RNC) were includ­ed on a chart with neo-Nazi groups.
