Eligible Pennsylvania residents have until the end of December to file an application for the state’s Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program.
The amount of a tax rebate a household will receive will depend on income and whether the applicant rents or owns their home. The maximum standard rebates are between $250 and $650 for homeowners and between $500 and $650 for renters.

Supplemental rebates for qualifying homeowners can boost rebates up to $975, according to the state’s Department of Revenue.
The income limit is $35,000 annually for a homeowner and $15,000 annually for renters. Half of Social Security income is excluded.
Homeowners with an income from $0 to $18,000 can receive a maximum rebate of $650, those with incomes $8,001 to $15,000 can receive a maximum rebate of $500, those with incomes $15,001 to $18,000 can receive a maximum rebate of $300 …
