RFK’s wife Cheryl Hines com­plains lack of secret ser­vice pro­tec­tion is ‘polit­i­cal’

Cheryl Hines, the actress and wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr, believes that the lack of Secret Ser­vice pro­tec­tion for her hus­band is a polit­i­cal deci­sion.
Hines gave an inter­view to TMZ Fri­day after a break in scare in the Cal­i­for­nia home she shares with Kennedy. His cam­paign has been denied twice by the Home­land Secu­ri­ty Depart­ment for Secret Ser­vice pro­tec­tion and sub­mit­ted a third request on Wednes­day. The actress lament­ed that they haven’t been approved for pro­tec­tion despite some close calls.

“I’m not sure what it’s going to take,” Hines said. “So, it’s hard. It’s real­ly dis­ap­point­ing.”
