Mike Pence drops out of 2024 pres­i­den­tial race

For­mer Vice Pres­i­dent Mike Pence has sus­pend­ed his 2024 pres­i­den­tial cam­paign. He announced the news Sat­ur­day after­noon at the Repub­li­can Jew­ish Coalition’s annu­al con­fer­ence in Las Vegas.
“So after much prayer and delib­er­a­tion, I have decid­ed to sus­pend my cam­paign for pres­i­dent effec­tive today,” Pence said, caus­ing the audi­ence to gasp.

“To the Amer­i­can peo­ple, I say: This is not my time, but it is still your time,” Pence added. “I urge you to hold fast to what mat­ters most; faith, fam­i­ly, and the Con­sti­tu­tion.”
