Tuberville has been delay­ing the con­fir­ma­tion of 376 gen­er­al and flag offi­cers over the Pen­tagon’s abor­tion pol­i­cy, prompt­ing mul­ti­ple floor attempts by Sen­ate Democ­rats to break the log­jam. Each time, Tuberville has object­ed, keep­ing his hold in place.
