Residents in the commonwealth of Virginia have through Wednesday to file their 2022 state income taxes to qualify for a tax rebate of up to $400.
To be eligible for the tax rebate, taxpayers must file their tax returns in the state by the Nov. 1 extended deadline. Today’s deadline is six months after the regular May 1, 2023, deadline to file 2022 Virginia state income taxes. If a Virginia resident filed his or her income taxes at the regular deadline, no further steps are necessary to receive the tax rebate.
