Liberal comedian Bill Maher laughed at California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom this week for running what is widely viewed by many as a “shadow campaign” for president.
Maher made the remarks during his HBO show “Real Time” on Friday while talking with Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), who recently entered the Democratic presidential primary race against President Joe Biden.
