Millions of Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries will receive the first of two December SSI payments from the Social Security Administration, which are worth up to $914 for individual filers, in 27 days.
The first round of payments will go out on Friday, Dec. 1, and the second will go out on Friday, Dec. 29, because of a kink in the administration’s calendar. The second payment will take the place of January’s payment because Jan. 1, 2024, is a holiday.
