House Repub­li­cans will ‘grow their major­i­ty’ in 2024 despite speak­er dra­ma: GOP super PAC

A super PAC aligned with the House Repub­li­can lead­er­ship expressed con­fi­dence Repub­li­cans will expand their major­i­ty in 2024, even after chaos in the House under GOP lead­er­ship.
In a memo, Dan Con­ston, the pres­i­dent of the Con­gres­sion­al Lead­er­ship Fund, said that he believes House Repub­li­cans are in a “strong posi­tion to hold and grow their major­i­ty” and that in the two weeks Speak­er Mike John­son (R‑LA) has had the gav­el, he has seen “seen first­hand his eager­ness and deter­mi­na­tion to invest in the fight to expand the House major­i­ty.”

“The House lead­er­ship team is focused on an agen­da that grows our econ­o­my and shrinks Biden’s infla­tion, impos­es some fis­cal com­mon­sense on Wash­ing­ton, keeps our com­mu­ni­ties safe, and stands with Israel, our great­est ally in the Mid­dle East,” Con­ston said in the memo, one year out from the 2024 elec­tions.
