Israeli actress Gal Gadot plans screening of IDF footage of Hamas attack

Israeli actress Gal Gadot is plan­ning to host a screen­ing of Israel’s con­flict with Hamas, with the footage pro­vid­ed by the Israel Defense Forces.
The screen­ing will show­case 47 min­utes of the attack Hamas made on Oct. 7 to a curat­ed audi­ence, with the show­case spear­head­ed by Acad­e­my Award-win­ning direc­tor Guy Nat­tiv, accord­ing to a report. Gadot host­ing the screen­ing is notable because, beyond being a famous Israeli actress, she is also an IDF vet­er­an.

“As a film­mak­er, I swore that these images of Octo­ber 7 would not be for­got­ten, and the world would see them,” Nat­tiv said. “Because now the denial begins — it is a fake, it is not a fake.”
Nat­tiv thanked Gadot and her hus­band, Yaron Varsano, for help­ing to make the screen­ing “pos­si­ble.”
