Ramaswamy push­es peti­tion for McDaniel’s ouster as RNC chair­woman

EXCLUSIVE — Vivek Ramaswamy is ampli­fy­ing his calls for Repub­li­can Nation­al Com­mit­tee Chair­woman Ron­na McDaniel to step down.
The for­mer biotech entre­pre­neur is cir­cu­lat­ing a peti­tion urg­ing McDaniel to resign, accord­ing to the 2024 Repub­li­can pres­i­den­tial can­di­date’s cam­paign, dou­bling as a way for him to build his email data­base.

“I am sick and tired of this Repub­li­can estab­lish­ment that has made us a par­ty of losers,” Ramaswamy told the Wash­ing­ton Exam­in­er. “Where is the account­abil­i­ty for years of los­ing? 2018, 2020, 2022, and now 2023.”
“On the debate stage, I called on Ron­na Rom­ney McDaniel to resign,” he said. “Now, I’m ask­ing grass­roots con­ser­v­a­tives across the nation to join me so she can feel the pow­er of the peo­ple. It’s time to stop the cul­ture of sur­ren­der and los­ing. Resign, Ron­na!”
Ramaswamy came in hot dur­ing last week’s third pri­ma­ry debate in Mia­mi, crit­i­ciz­ing McDaniel for her lead­er­ship after Repub­li­cans under­per­formed in the off-year elec­tions, par­tic­u­lar­ly those held in Ken­tucky, Penn­syl­va­nia, and Vir­ginia.
