On Tuesday’s edi­tion of the PBS News Hour, “spe­cial cor­re­spon­dent” Simona Foltyn ques­tioned Gen. Abbas Ibrahim, a for­mer Lebanese intel­li­gence offi­cial with close ties to Hezbol­lah, the Iran­ian-backed mil­i­tant group des­ig­nat­ed as a ter­ror­ist group by the Unit­ed States.Foltyn worked for the vir­u­lent­ly anti-Israel out­let Arab news net­work Al-Jazeera Eng­lish from 2019 to 2021 (on the Iraq beat), and her ques­tions to Ibrahim would no doubt be endorsed by her pre­vi­ous employers.Gen.
