Dwayne ‘The Rock’ John­son details how a polit­i­cal par­ty asked him to run for pres­i­dent

For­mer wrestler and Hol­ly­wood star Dwayne “The Rock” John­son told Joe Rogan he was vis­it­ed by a polit­i­cal par­ty ask­ing him to run for pres­i­dent.
“One of the par­ties came to vis­it me at the end of last year, ask­ing for me to run,” John­son told Rogan on Wednes­day’s episode of the Joe Rogan Expe­ri­ence. “It was, first of all, incred­i­bly f***ing sur­re­al because I was the guy who was, you know, wrestling at flea mar­kets, look­ing for free corn dogs and hot dogs and s***.”

Not only did the polit­i­cal par­ty ask the for­mer WWE cham­pi­on to run, but it also pre­sent­ed him with data about how a pres­i­den­tial elec­tion fea­tur­ing The Rock would play out, John­son said.
