Boom: Major­i­ty now live in gun-own­ing house­holds

When it comes to vote-dri­ving top­ics, the Left will always have abor­tion and guns.
But for the first time in mod­ern his­to­ry, those liv­ing in gun-own­ing homes have reached slight­ly more than a major­i­ty, boost­ing the Sec­ond Amend­ment into a sta­tus that makes it a rival to the top left-wing top­ic.

In an NBC poll that made head­lines for con­firm­ing for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s expand­ing lead in the 2024 elec­tion over Pres­i­dent Joe Biden, 52% said that they live in a gun-own­ing house­hold.
Sec­ond Amend­ment lob­by­ists said that growth in gun own­er­ship, espe­cial­ly among women and minori­ties in the past three years, could help swing some states into Trump’s col­umn next fall.
