White House touts ‘Small Busi­ness Boom’ after record reached

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden and Vice Pres­i­dent Kamala Har­ris cel­e­brat­ed what they called a “small busi­ness boom” dur­ing their admin­is­tra­tion.
Some 14.6 mil­lion appli­ca­tions for new busi­ness­es were filed since Biden’s inau­gu­ra­tion. Fam­i­lies that own busi­ness­es increased by 9% over­all.

“Since I took office, Amer­i­cans have filed near­ly 15 mil­lion appli­ca­tions to start busi­ness­es – and the per­cent of Black house­holds own­ing a busi­ness has more than dou­bled,” Biden wrote on X, for­mer­ly known as Twit­ter. “Get out there today and #ShopS­mall.”
