Ken Buck says 2020 elec­tion deny­ing politi­cians are ‘lying to Amer­i­ca’

Rep. Ken Buck (R‑CO) stat­ed Sun­day that law­mak­ers who deny the results of the 2020 pres­i­den­tial elec­tion are “lying to Amer­i­ca.”
Buck­’s state­ment comes as for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, who has con­sis­tent­ly argued that the 2020 elec­tion results are ille­git­i­mate, is run­ning for pres­i­dent again in 2024. Regard­ing the pres­i­den­tial elec­tion next year, Buck said that he believes the Repub­li­can Par­ty can win over vot­ers against Pres­i­dent Joe Biden but that it needs to “move for­ward” from elec­tion deniers to do so.
