NYC Mayor Adams Says Chief Fundraiser No Longer In Position Following FBI Raid

New York City May­or Eric Adams said the 25-year-old woman who served as his chief polit­i­cal fundrais­er is no longer work­ing in that posi­tion, near­ly a month after fed­er­al agents raid­ed her Brook­lyn home.
Adams announced on Tues­day that his now-for­mer polit­i­cal fundrais­ing man­ag­er Bri­an­na Sug­gs was out, after pre­vi­ous­ly express­ing he had “full con­fi­dence” in her fundrais­ing efforts, accord­ing to The New York Times.
“She is no longer doing fundrais­ing for the cam­paign,” Adams told reporters.
The may­or declined to com­ment fur­ther on Sug­gs. How­ev­er, the New York Post report­ed that a per­son close to the cam­paign said she remains on staff, but is mov­ing into anoth­er role for the mayor’s 2025 reel …
