Latest Republican debate brought in over 4 million viewers

Wednes­day’s Repub­li­can debate, the fourth chance vot­ers had to hear from the can­di­dates try­ing to gain ground on par­ty front-run­ner for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, brought in the low­est num­bers so far this year.
The event, host­ed by cable net­work Nexs­tar Broad­cast­ing, brought in 4.1 mil­lion house­holds, almost 1.6 mil­lion of whom watched the debate on News­Na­tion, while over 2.5 mil­lion watched on the CW Net­work. That is com­pared to 7.5 mil­lion view­ers who tuned in to the third debate, which aired on NBC. The first and sec­ond debates, which aired on Fox News and Fox Busi­ness, brought in 12.8 mil­lion and 9.5 mil­lion view­ers, respec­tive­ly.
