Tim Shee­hy says Schumer-tied PAC is try­ing to dis­tract vot­ers from Tester’s record: ‘They’re going to lose to me’

Tim Shee­hy, a Repub­li­can can­di­date run­ning for Sen. Jon Tester’s (D‑MT) seat, said Democ­rats spend­ing big to cam­paign against him are dis­tract­ing vot­ers from the incumbent’s record and are “going to lose.”
“The Democ­rats in Mon­tana know that, on the issues, Jon Tester los­es across the board,” Shee­hy said in an inter­view with Fox News Dig­i­tal. “Immi­gra­tion, econ­o­my, ener­gy. It’s no ques­tion Jon Tester is a rub­ber stamp for all of Joe Biden’s poli­cies, and if he runs on the issues, they’re going to lose to me. And they know that.”
In recent months, the Last Best Place PAC has spent $5.7 mil­lion in broad­cast and cable ads attack­ing Shee­hy. The enti­ty behind the mul­ti­mil­lion-dol­lar TV blitz is aligned with Sen­ate Major­i­ty Leader Chuck Schumer (D‑NY).
