Former Trump Org CFO Pleads Guilty To Perjury In Connection With NY Civil Business Fraud Case

Allen Weis­sel­berg, the for­mer chief finan­cial offi­cer for the Trump Orga­ni­za­tion, plead­ed guilty on Mon­day to per­jury, admit­ting that he lied to inves­ti­ga­tors in for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s civ­il busi­ness fraud case in New York.
Weis­sel­berg plead­ed guilty to two counts of first-degree per­jury, both felonies, at the Man­hat­tan Crim­i­nal Court, the New York Post report­ed. He will serve a five-month prison sen­tence as part of his plea deal, and a sen­tenc­ing hear­ing is set to take place on April 10.
Dur­ing the Mon­day hear­ing, the 76-year-old for­mer CFO admit­ted that he lied dur­ing depo­si­tion tes­ti­monies in July …
