WATCH LIVE: White House holds press briefing ahead of Biden swing-state tour

White House press sec­re­tary Karine Jean-Pierre and nation­al secu­ri­ty advis­er Jake Sul­li­van will brief the press on Mon­day as Pres­i­dent Joe Biden heads out on a swing-state tour.
Biden is expect­ed to cam­paign in all six states that he nar­row­ly won in 2020, includ­ing Michi­gan, Penn­syl­va­nia, Neva­da, and Wis­con­sin. Biden has already cam­paigned in Geor­gia, Penn­syl­va­nia, Michi­gan, and Wis­con­sin, but he will cam­paign in Ari­zona and Neva­da lat­er this week.

The tour comes a week after Biden and for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump crossed their respec­tive del­e­gate counts to become their party’s nom­i­nees, prompt­ing a repeat of the 2020 pres­i­den­tial elec­tion.
The brief­ing will begin at 1:30 p.m. East­ern time.
