Stimulus update: Direct payment worth ,312 to be sent to some Alaska residents in two days

In two days, the Alas­ka Depart­ment of Rev­enue is sched­uled to send out pay­ments from the Per­ma­nent Fund Div­i­dend to anoth­er batch of res­i­dents who have yet to receive their checks from the pro­gram.
The state will issue this lat­est round of PFD pay­ments on Thurs­day to those who had the “Eli­gi­ble-Not Paid” sta­tus as of last Wednes­day and have not got­ten their checks from the pro­gram from 2023 or ear­li­er.
To qual­i­fy for the state pro­gram, Alaskans seek­ing the pay­ment must intend to remain a res­i­dent of the state indef­i­nite­ly and may not be a con­vict­ed felon, among oth­er stip­u­la­tions.
The Per­ma­nent Fund Div­i­dend check amounts each year are deter­mined by the state’s annu­al min­er­al rev­enues. The checks being sent to el …
