In 2020 and 2024 respec­tive­ly, GOP Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump and Demo­c­ra­t­ic Pres­i­dent Joe Biden each faced three long­shot pri­ma­ry chal­lengers, but the media cov­er­age of these cam­paigns was vast­ly dif­fer­ent, a News­Busters study has found.
