Biden stresses importance of November election in call with Obama and Pelosi

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden empha­sized the impor­tance of the com­ing pres­i­den­tial elec­tion, where he faces a rematch against for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, dur­ing a nation­al orga­niz­ing call with for­mer Pres­i­dent Barack Oba­ma and for­mer House Speak­er Nan­cy Pelosi (D‑CA).
The vir­tu­al cam­paign event, shared on Sat­ur­day, cen­tered on the anniver­sary of the Afford­able Care Act — com­mon­ly known as “Oba­macare” — with all three warn­ing that under anoth­er Trump pres­i­den­cy, the leg­is­la­tion could be in dan­ger of being repealed. Biden tied togeth­er the Afford­able Care Act and abor­tion to pro­claim that health­care is “at stake” in Novem­ber.
“Send me a Demo­c­ra­t­ic Con­gress and Kamala [Har­ris], and I will make sure Roe v Wade becomes a law of the land again. I can go on, but the bot­tom line, health­care is at stake in this elec­tion. And I’m con­fi­dent when we make the case, we will win,” Biden said.
