Stimulus update: Direct payment of ,312 to be sent to some Alaskans in 15 days

In 15 days, eli­gi­ble Alas­ka res­i­dents who have yet to get their checks from the state as part of the state’s Per­ma­nent Fund Div­i­dend will receive their pay­ments.
On April 18, res­i­dents with the “Eli­gi­ble-Not Paid” sta­tus as of April 10 who have not got­ten their checks from the Per­ma­nent Fund Div­i­dend pro­gram from 2023 or ear­li­er will receive their pay­ments from the Alas­ka Depart­ment of Rev­enue.
An appli­cant must intend to remain a res­i­dent of Alas­ka indef­i­nite­ly and not be a con­vict­ed felon, among oth­er stip­u­la­tions, to be eli­gi­ble for a check from the pro­gram.
The Per­ma­nent Fund Div­i­dend amount each year is deter­mined by the state’s annu­al min­er­al rev­enues and the checks are sent to eli­gi­ble res­i­dents every year. In 2023, the pay­ment from the pro­gram was worth $1,312 per res­i­dent, and the dis­trib …
