A joke tweet about Net­flix has gone viral as many users on the social media plat­form believed – and hoped – it was real.
User Soren Iver­son issued clar­i­fi­ca­tion for his orig­i­nal post after it went viral over the week­end, rack­ing up close to 25 mil­lion views by Mon­day.
“Net­flix ‘skip the fore­play’ fea­ture removes naughty scenes to make fam­i­ly movie night less awk­ward,” Iver­son wrote in the orig­i­nal post cap­tion. He includ­ed a fake image of the Net­flix menu screen show­ing the “skip the fore­play” menu option asso­ci­at­ed with the pop­u­lar peri­od dra­ma series, “Bridger­ton.”
