WV State Treasurer Bans Environmentalist Banks, Blasts ‘Prohibitive’ ‘Discriminatory’ ESG

West Vir­ginia State Trea­sur­er Riley Moore, a Repub­li­can, took a vic­to­ry lap on Fox Busi­ness after his state struck back at pro-ESG banks. 
Dur­ing the April 9 edi­tion of Fox Busi­ness’ The Big Mon­ey Show, Moore made clear that West Vir­ginia has a zero-tol­er­ance pol­i­cy towards rad­i­cal pro-ESG firms that threat­en the liveli­hoods of his con­stituents.
