Biden Bleeding Support From Black Men In Crucial Swing States, WSJ Poll Finds

Pres­i­dent Joe Biden is los­ing the sup­port of black men at an alarm­ing rate, accord­ing to a Wall Street Jour­nal poll of sev­en swing states.
The 2024 elec­tion poll released last week sur­veyed vot­ers in Ari­zona, Geor­gia, Michi­gan, Neva­da, North Car­oli­na, Penn­syl­va­nia, and Wis­con­sin, all states wide­ly viewed as “toss-ups” head­ing into Novem­ber. The Wall Street Jour­nal report­ed on Thurs­day that one major find­ing in the poll showed that Biden’s sup­port among black men in the swing states is 30 points low­er than the 2020 election’s nation­al results.
In the poll, 57% of black men sup­port­ed Biden, while 30% said they backed for­mer Pres­i­dent Trump. This is a dras­tic shift from 2020 when 87% of black men vot­ed for Biden, and only 12% vot­ed for Trump, accord­ing to the Vote­Cast nation­al poll.
