Food stamps: April SNAP payments worth up to ,751 conclude in Delaware in 12 days

Delaware’s Sup­ple­men­tal Nutri­tion Assis­tance Pro­gram will fin­ish send­ing April pay­ments worth up to $1,751 in 12 days.
The First State begins the dis­tri­b­u­tion of SNAP pay­ments on the 2nd of each month. Pay­ments are dis­trib­uted for most of the month. The first let­ters of recip­i­ents’ last names deter­mine the issuance dates for their pay­ments.
April’s pay­ments began dis­tri­b­u­tion on April 2 and will con­clude dis­tri­b­u­tion on April 23.
A household’s income can­not exceed 200% of the fed­er­al pover­ty lev­el to qual­i­fy for SNAP pay­ments in Delaware. A sin­gle-per­son house­hold can­not have a month­ly income above $2,266, while a house­hold of eight can­not make more than $7,772 month­ly.
Oth­er fac­tors, such as the val­ue of assets, are tak­en into account. Those who are eli­gi­ble can apply for SNAP ben­e­fits here.
