The View hosts divid­ed by Biden’s silence on ris­ing gro­cery prices

Hosts of The View are torn over Pres­i­dent Joe Biden‘s for­mer chief of staff, Ron Klain’s sug­ges­tion to focus more on high gro­cery prices.
Thursday’s episode hear­kened to leaked audio of Klain say­ing, “I think the pres­i­dent is out there too much talk­ing about bridges,” while Amer­i­cans “go to the gro­cery store and, you know, eggs and milk are expen­sive.” Some hosts agreed with Klain.
“Even if you sup­port Biden, no one should be immune from crit­i­cism,” Alyssa Far­rah Grif­fin said, para­phras­ing talk show host John Stew­art. “I want Trump to lose. I’m not a Biden sup­port­er, but what I hear when I talk to unde­cid­eds, is the gro­cery bills.”

“I see what you’re say­ing,” Sara Haines said. “Even cam­paign­ing on things like that helps.”
