Trump wields endorse­ment to try and remove one of two pro-impeach­ment Repub­li­cans left in the House

For­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump wield­ed his endorse­ment in a Wash­ing­ton House race on Fri­day to try and remove one of the two Repub­li­cans left who tried to impeach him in 2021.
Trump threw his sup­port behind for­mer NASCAR dri­ver and Navy vet­er­an Jer­rod Sessler for the House seat cur­rent­ly occu­pied by Rep. Dan New­house (R‑WA), blast­ing New­house as a “weak and pathet­ic RINO.”
“Jer­rod Sessler is a fan­tas­tic can­di­date and will be a GREAT Con­gress­man for Wash­ing­ton State’s 4th Con­gres­sion­al Dis­trict,” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social. “A Navy Vet­er­an, Entre­pre­neur, Lov­ing Father and Hus­band, Jer­rod will fight hard every day to secure the Bor­der, stand for the Rule of Law, strength­en our Mil­i­tary, take care of our Vets, Defend our Nation, and pro­tect our always under siege Sec­ond Amend­ment.
